In Hebrews 13:8, the Hebrew writer wrote, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." When I read these words, I am in awe of God's goodness and grace. These are words that should set well with every believer because they resonate the character of God through Jesus Christ. In a world that is constantly changing, and when the changes are based on changing circumstances, it is reassuring to know, without any doubt, that our Lord and Savior never changes. Unlike human beings, changing circumstances do not affect His love for man, the ultimate of His creation. Therefore, we can have confidence that "he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6).
